The place doesn't cooperate. It affects timing and how bodies pass through it. We don't always intervene or correct the conditions. Light is incidental. Order stays partial. Sometimes things sharpen, sometimes they slacken or rot in place. No tuning, no repair, no attempt to hold what resists. Any rhythm that appears is incidental and won't last. TROST doesn't try to work. It stays rough and rotten. Timing slips. Nothing is fixed. Something may happen.

We look for practices that neither oppose the room nor get swallowed by it. Often they emerge from sustained work rather than isolated gestures.
